I learned a lot at this wedding . I think the most important thing i learned from Sara is that a bride needs to do what SHE wants on her wedding day. As a photographer- I stress this to brides before hand. I stress the importance of remembering its YOUR day, and to do what makes YOU happy, and that your photos will reflect that. That being said, Sara's only want on her day.....pictures by the shack! Her exact words- "I don't care how wet we get- its the one picture I need- and its the one picture I WANT!!". So- everyone made their way to the bridge , and the result- happiness! You can see it in their faces, you can see it in their friends faces and you can remember a moment like that forever- and with pictures to prove it, how could you go wrong? So the lesson I take from Sara and Ronald's wedding day:
You can't control everything. You can't control the weather on your wedding day , the rain or the the shine. But you can control what makes you happy. So- when its 50mm of rain on the biggest day of your life it doesn't matter. Real, genuine happiness is what makes the day perfect. An honest, real down to earth couple who are just genuinely happy to be finally married with all of their friends and family around to share it----- You CAN'T trump that...........even on the nicest day of the year. I can honestly say (and I'm sure you can ask anyone else that was there)- it was as though They didn't even know it was raining!!! They were so happy - that was all they saw- each other . . A real love story- gets me right in the feels!!!

Natasha and Frank started planning their wedding day a couple of years back. It was almost surreal that day had finally come, and a part of me was sad to let go of the anticipation for it. It seems like I have had it with me for so long, I'm not used to not counting down to this one! One thing was clear from the day Natasha booked me for her wedding- these two love birds could not wait to call each other husband and wife- officially! Natasha and Frank are just so easy to be around, their hearts are big and so is their love for their family, children and insanely sweet grandchildren. The way the kids look at them is admirable, and genuine- which was a direct reflection to loving people they are and the loving family they have built together ! Such a perfect love story!
